Build systems people depend on

At idataraya you work on software that hospitals, malls, car parks and payment counters run on every day. The engineers who design and build a system are the ones who operate it once it is live.

That changes the job. You find out whether your architecture held, because you are still there a year later watching it carry real load.

Experienced engineers

Bring what you have shipped and operated. Architecture decisions sit with you rather than being handed down, and you stay with the system afterwards.

Early careers

Graduates join a delivery team on a live engagement in the first month, sitting with someone senior rather than working through training exercises.

Internships

Placements run alongside a real engagement and are scoped so the work ships. We take interns when there is genuine work for one.

Work on the engines, not just the delivery

More than twenty production engines sit underneath the systems we ship: point of sale, payments, clinic management, parking, mall management, CRM and accounting. Engineers here work on both sides, the reusable engine and the client system composed from it.

How we hire

01

You write to us

A few paragraphs and a link. We would rather read about one system you have run than a list of technologies.

02

A conversation

About an hour, with an engineer rather than a recruiter. What you built, what broke, what you did about it.

03

A technical session

A problem close to the real work: an integration, a data model, a failure you have to diagnose. No whiteboard algorithms.

04

A decision

You hear back either way, with a reason. If it is not a fit now we will say so rather than leave it open.
