About the role
You own delivery across several engagements at once, including staffing, risk and the commercial conversation. It is the role that keeps the promises the sales conversation made.
What you will do
- Own delivery across a portfolio of engagements.
- Staff the teams, and resolve the conflicts between them.
- Handle escalation, risk and the commercial discussion with clients.
- Support the project managers rather than duplicating them.
What you will bring
- Experience managing several concurrent software engagements.
- Commercial judgement about scope, margin and change.
- Credibility with engineers, which is not the same as credibility with clients.
- Willingness to make the unpopular call early.
