The team
Payments and acceptance. QR and card rails, terminals, settlement files and reconciliation.
About the role
You integrate QR and card rails and prove the flows against acquirer test environments before anything reaches production. Payment integrations fail in specific, documented ways, and handling those is most of the job.
What you will do
- Build integrations against acquirer, scheme and wallet interfaces.
- Handle timeouts, reversals, duplicates and the states in between.
- Run certification and test cases with the counterparty.
- Support live payment flows and investigate what did not settle.
What you will bring
- Experience with payment integrations or comparable financial interfaces.
- Discipline about idempotency, retries and reconciliation.
- The ability to read a specification closely and hold a counterparty to it.
- Calm during production incidents involving money.
